He also talked about plans related to reclamation of lands and cleaning of a number of territories from accumulated damage. Also there was talk about the transition of enterprises to the so-called best available technologies in the field of environmental protection.
The president, during a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin, asked him to help the Prosecutor General's Office verify how laws are being implemented to tighten the punishment for the extermination of rare animals listed in the Red Book.
